About the project
Oberoende Nyheter is a Swedish news site publishing news, sport and local coverage — factual and impartial, free of political, economic or ideological ties. AI is used as a production tool, and everything is reviewed by people before it goes out.
A news site runs on trust, so this one publishes its own workings: how the analysis is done, which sources it uses and where AI was involved — down to the picture level, where AI-generated illustrations are labelled as such.
What we built

The feed, the sections and the article templates are made so new material goes out continuously without anyone touching the code.
Transparency in the structure
Method, source policy and AI policy are pages of their own, linked from every part of the site rather than buried in a footer.
