About the project
An ordering system for Thai Me Up in Copenhagen, where guests browse the menu and order takeaway for pickup or delivery. The site is in Danish, the prices in kroner, and the cart is always within reach — on a laptop and on a phone.
The food sells itself, so every dish gets its own photo, number and price — and one click to the cart.
What we built
- A menu with categories, photos, dish numbers and prices
- Combo deals with a choice of protein, spice level and sauce
- A cart with a running total, on both laptop and phone
- Pickup in 20 minutes or delivery from 199 kr
- Minimum order value and opening hours that decide when an order can be placed
- A state for when the kitchen is busy and not accepting more orders
- Hand-coded and mobile-ready throughout, with terms and a privacy policy
Our part in it
We built the system — and we keep the menu alive.
The menu stays current
New dishes, changed prices and combo deals go in whenever the kitchen changes the menu.
Built phone-first
Most people order on a phone, so the cart stays pinned to the bottom of the screen all the way through the menu.
Tested after every change
Load time, mobile, cart and checkout are tested after each update, so what worked yesterday still works today.
